Testimonials from Little Angels Parents (past and present)
We have been very happy with LAPD. Our girls have grown tremendously in the past 2.5 years. LAPD works closely with the parents to ensure the best for the kids. -Chris and Julie Balk.
I interviewed several daycares in the area when I was pregnant and I was instantly impressed when I interviewed at Little Angels that I signed up immediately after the interview. I have since had a great experience with them and feel at ease that my child is in good hands when I'm at work. Here's what I like about them: While most daycares seperate preschoolers from the younger ones, Little Angels have seperate areas for even the infants and toddlers, which gives me immense assurance that my little one wouldn't get tromped over by toddlers when playing on the floor.
Each baby has his/her own crib, which is in a room seperate from the play area, behind curtains, with soothing music playing to muffle the noises to ensure good naps.
I was very impressed with their attention to safety and hygiene. For example, they do fire drills more often than the state requires; their cribs are on wheels so in case of an emergency, could be taken out easily and quickly. They have a coded door security system. Among the daycares I interviewed, they were the only one that asked me to remove my shoes before I entered.
I was also impressed by their attention to details. Each child's belongings are clearly labeled and neatly organized. Each baby's picture (which gets updated often as they grow-Miss Joanie in the infant room is a great photographer) is hung on the wall so even substitute teachers can easily identify them. Each baby's information, such as eating schedule, and special instructions from parents is also easily found in the log book.
The teachers are knowledgeable and experienced, and can be a great resource when you need advice. Yet they are very professional and are fully commited to your child as you would instruct.
They are very flexible to accommodate each families special needs such as cloth diapers, etc. -Arina Bierdz
Being a single mom of two it was hard working and taking care of the kids so I decided to put them in daycare even though I was always skeptic of it. But right away Mrs. Jay and all of the teachers were very friendly. The kids get to play outside, sing and do art projects. My son has been talking so much more, he can count and knows the alphabet! And it's also great on your bank account. I would not have it any other way now. -Manuela Medoro
